Taranaki Rugby would like to keep our community informed of the current situation in Taranaki with regards to rugby.

NZR has suspended all community rugby though to the 18th of April with a review to take place at the start of that week.

The Taranaki men's and women's academy and wider Mitre 10 Cup players have finished their testing week and were due to have next week off. In light of COVID-19 they are going to have an extra week away to allow the ever changing situation to be monitored.

After a meeting with Clubs Chairs last night, it was decided in Taranaki to cancel all rugby trainings.  We will reassess the situation on Wednesday the 25^th of March before our AGM meeting which is being held at the NPOB Rugby Club at 7pm. The structure of our club season will be discussed at that meeting.

Our community, its players, volunteers, and administrators are our number one priority, and all measures we take are precautionary during this evolving situation.
