
Clelands Construction will again be shouting Taranaki junior club rugby players to watch their heroes on Clelands Club Day at Yarrow Stadium in 2024.
The initiative, now in its second year will be a celebration of the grassroots game and will take place when the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls open their Bunnings NPC title defence against Counties Manukau on Friday August 9. The match kicks off at the family friendly time of 5.35pm kick off.
Complimentary General Admission child tickets are available for Denis Wheeler Earthmoving junior registered club players (Ferdie 1 - Ferdie 8). Tickets will be availalbe via club junior convenors.
Adults, caregivers, club members, volunteers and supporters will be able to secure discounted $10 General Admission adult tickets (usually $15) when using their unique club code.
Yarrows Taranaki Bulls halfback Logan Crowley was looking forward to celebrating Clelands Club Day.
“It’s always a season highlight donning my Coastal socks for the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls on Clelands Club Day. I get a buzz seeing kids proudly wearing their club colours as I was one of them back in the day. Clelands Club Day is a great opportunity for us as a team to reflect on the work our clubs and their volunteers do for our game.”
Prizes will be on offer for the top three selling clubs per registered players. Kaponga will be looking to claim back-to-back titles after being the top selling club at Clelands Club Day in 2023.
Toko, Tukapa, Southern and Clifton rounded out the top five performing clubs last year.

Established in 1916 and known as The Green Army, Clelands Construction has a proud history of service to the local construction industry. Based in New Plymouth, they have a team of close to 100 staff and deliver a range of construction projects for residential, commercial and industrial clients.
Clelands Construction have been the lead contractor on the Yarrow Stadium redevelopment and are currently constructing the new East Stand.
