Clelands Construction to shout junior players to Clelands Club Day at Yarrow Stadium


Clelands Construction are shouting Taranaki junior club rugby players to watch their heroes on Clelands Club Day at Yarrow Stadium on Friday August 4.

The initiative, which will be a celebration of the local grassroots game, will take place when the Central Roofing Taranaki Whio (v Tasman @ 5.05PM) and the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls (v Counties Manukau @7.35PM) host a Bunnings Warehouse NPC and Farah Palmer Cup doubleheader.

Complimentary General Admission tickets are available for junior registered club players through junior club convenors.

Adults, caregivers, club members, volunteers and supporters are able to secure discounted $10 General Admission adult tickets (usually $15) when using their unique club code. Prizes will be on offer for the three top selling clubs per total registered players.

Club based activity is planned for Clelands Club Day including:

  • A junior march past on Yarrow Stadium #1 pre match for junior rugby players.
  • Club relay race (4x100m) at half time in the Bulls game.
  • Pre match rippa rugby will feature on Yarrow Stadium #1 between the Bulls and Whio matches.
  • Encourage your club members to wear their club colours to be in to win Taranaki Rugby merchandise items with club cam on the Yarrow Stadium big screen.
  • The Bulls and Whio teams will be playing in their club socks on the night.

 

Clelands Construction Managing Director Michael Braggins and the team at Clelands were pleased to again partner with the TRFU and to encourage the community spirit of the grassroots game.

Established in 1916 and known as The Green Army, Clelands Construction has a proud history of service to the local construction industry. Based in New Plymouth, they have a team of close to 100 staff and deliver a range of construction projects for residential, commercial and industrial clients.

Last year Clelands Construction, who have been the lead contractor on the Yarrow Stadium redevelopment, shouted 4,000 Taranaki ratepayers’ tickets to the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls first match back at Yarrow Stadium against Waikato.
