CMK Chartered Accountants are once again the naming rights partner of Taranaki Club Rugby reaffirming their commitment to the local rugby community.

They are well known for getting behind several local events and sporting codes and have been supporting Taranaki Club Rugby for the last eight years.

CMK Principal John Dazley was pleased to again get behind local club rugby.

"It is always a pleasure to support and help local community organisations, we are privileged to be able to help and support local grassroots rugby. It will be good to get around the grounds and meet the people that make Taranaki rugby clubs so special."

2023 will see CMK Club Finals Day return to Yarrow Stadium for the first time since 2019. CMK Club Finals Day will be held on Saturday July 15.

The CMK Women’s final will also be played at Yarrow Stadium on Friday June 16 under lights before the Central Roofing Taranaki Whio Bunnings Farah Palmer Cup campaign gets underway in early July.

Taranaki Rugby Community Operations Lead Ben Hitchcock was excited to have a full season of CMK Club Rugby kicking off in 2023.

“With disruptions throughout the last few years we cannot wait to see the community on the side lines supporting their clubs. This year promises to be an entertaining one with an extra women’s premier side and rural clubs entering back into the Division 2 competition. Finals for all competitions at Yarrow Stadium also provide the opportunity for our best talent to be showcased on the biggest stage Taranaki has to offer. Get along in your club colours and show your support in 2023!”

Round 1 of the CMK Premiership sees Tukapa at home to Spotswood United for Dan O’Brien Day, NPOB play host to Stratford Eltham, Clifton travel to Inglewood and Southern host near neighbours Coastal.
