Locally owned and operated Taranaki business TimberCo have become a proud partner of Taranaki Rugby.

TimberCo, who go by the catchphrase “Give Us A Go” are a leading supplier of timber, hardware, pre nailed frames and trusses in the region.

The firm has become a Yarrows Taranaki Bulls Official First 23 Partner and will have their brand displayed on the upper back of the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls loose head prop jersey.

David and Cheryl Leuthart purchased TimberCo in June 1999 and have developed a custom built premises in Sunley Street, Westown with a friendly team of staff.

In 2011 TimberCo was judged the Supreme Winner in the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. The judges said  “TimberCo has developed into a dominant leader in their industry sector and furthermore TimberCo’s quality is endorsed by their customer satisfaction and retention”.

More recently TimberCo won the  2019 Employer of Choice  & Marine, Manufacturing or Engineering  Excellence Awards at the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Taranaki Rugby Chief Executive Officer Laurence Corlett thanked TimberCo for getting behind Taranaki Rugby.

“David and Cheryl are big supporters of the local community. TimberCo have built up a strong name within the local building industry, we look forward to developing a positive partnership,” Corlett said.

“To achieve success in our field requires great team work. We are proud to get behind another iconic team the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls as they chase success in 2020,” TimberCo said.
