The Port Taranaki Whio will play their first home match of the season against Tasman at Yarrow Stadium.
The Whio are coming off a loss to Otago in Dunedin on Sunday but the statistics favoured Taranaki but were unable to capitalise.
Assistant Coach Braydon Peterson said the side is looking to make the most of the opportunities they create to put pressure on Tasman.
He said there were plenty of positive performances from Whio players hooker Natahsa Hintz, halfback Iritana Hohaia, second five five-eighth Chelsea Fowler and wing Brooke Neilson.
Kick off is at 12:05pm.
