Any coaches with Rep coaching ambitions in 2022 and beyond, all premier coaches, colts and high school coaches looking to up-skill and provide their players with the best possible experience.

March 21st - 6pm (Coastal)
April 20th - 6pm (Stratford/Eltham)
April 27th - 6pm (Tukapa)
May 2nd - 6pm (Hawera)
May 16th (Catch Up) - 6pm - (NPOB)
All coaches at secondary school level and up to Premier level must attend one of these sessions to coach in 2022. Covers key safety aspects around tackle, breakdown, scrum, concussion etc

April 7th – 10th Thursday – Sunday (Chiefs base Hamilton)
Coaches who have recently completed Level 2 DRC and hold a rep, premier or school 1st XV position will be considered and promoted by the union. Interest in attending should be communicated to Jack or Brad
Monday March 21st – SB #1 (Coast) - 6pm
Wednesday April 20th – SB #2 (Hawera) - 6pm
Wednesday April 27th – SB #3 (NPOB) - 6pm
Monday May 2nd – SB #4 (Stratford/Eltham) - 6pm
Monday May 16th – SB #5 (Tukapa) - 6pm
All coaches U6 to U13 must attend one of these sessions to coach in 2022. Covers key safety aspects around tackle, breakdown, concussion, child protection, growth mindset etc

Any coaches who have completed DRC course in Feb and identified will be contacted and offered a chance to come in.

All coaches who attended DRC at the start of the year will be offered a chance to attend a day long observation of coaches at camp

We are delighted to have a fulltime Coach Development Officer Jack Kirifi who is committed to ensuring our club, school and junior coaches have the resources they need to be better at what they do. This has a follow on affect too by improving our players and ultimately making the game better. Jack also helps assist the eight club development officers.
